BIO
Troy has officially become our longest resident, and while he's been patiently waiting, we know this boy deserves so much more than shelter life. Troy came to us pretty scared and unsure about most everything after having been dropped in a local hotel parking lot. We have taken our time, earning his trust over the last few months, and although he doesn't care to share his past with us, here's what we know for certain about his future:
Expects his new family to have a healthy toy budget. His favorite past time is seeing just how many toys he can fit in his mouth at once. Balls are a particular favorite. Snuggles are great with his trusted hoomans, but we will warn you - when happy, his tail becomes a whip!
What You Should Know About Troy:
Still wary of new human friends. He doesn't trust his gut, and wants to meet you several times (and evaluate the treats you offer!) before deciding to trust you. Speaking of treats, he hasn't met many he doesn't care for, and though he gets excited, he still takes them very gently. Troy will even sit and give five with each paw as payment for your kindness.
Very choosy about potential dog friends. Hasn't found a male buddy yet, but seems to want to entertain the pretty ladies. Unsure (but doubtful) about potential with kitties.
Troy is still a diamond in the ruff for the right family. We see a bright future on the horizon for him!
Troy is currently in a foster home but is looking for a place to call his fur-ever home! Give him the chance he's been waiting far too long for - a home, a routine, a person to call his own!
